The Dan Panorama Hotel and Convention Center is the venue for Strings 2017 and offers excellent conference facilities and accommodation for the benefit of all participants.
The Dan Panorama hotel is situated at the southern end of Tel Aviv’s beachfront promenade on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and in Tel-Aviv’s trendy, authentic Neve-Zedek neighborhood. Near-by is Old Jaffa – the ancient port city, with its many restaurants, galleries, artists’ quarter, flea market and historic sites.
The hotel is at a distance of 27km/16 miles from Ben-Gurion International Airport.
How to get to the Dan Panorama hotel:
All conference hotels are located along the seashore area and are within walking distance of the Conference venue or a very short taxi or bus ride.
- From Ben-Gurion International Airport: see “Transportation”
- Car: You may use the hotel’s parking lot as well as parking lots near the hotel (rates vary).
- Public transportation:
You may use all bus lines that reach the Carmelit Terminal, which is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
From the Hahagana train station Tel Aviv: Dan bus line no. 16.
From the Savidor (Arlozerov) train station Tel Aviv: take Dan bus lines 61 or 66. Line #10 goes through Ben-Yehuda Street, and can be used by guests at the Conference hotels.
From the Central Bus Station Tel Aviv: Dan bus lines 16,17 & 31.
From Ben-Yehuda Street (for Metropolitan, Arcadia Tower and Mercure hotel guests): Bus lines 10 and 90.
Participants staying at the Conference hotels may take a nice walk along the Herbert Samuel beachfront promenade. Walking time is approx. 15-30 minutes, as indicated in the Accommodation table.
